Nestled in a quiet corner of the Pocono Mountains, Velvet Pines is a charming 3BR cabin blending retro style with rustic comfort. Unwind in the hot tub, enjoy peaceful forest views from the patio, or explore nearby lakes and scenic trails. Inside, vintage touches and inviting spaces create the perfect setting for slow mornings, relaxed evenings, and quality time together.

Parking: There is parking available for 3 cars
Policies:
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8 AM
No smoking inside the home
No events, parties, or large gatherings
Primary renter must be 26 or older; no groups of young adults under 26 yrs. old
No Fireworks
There is a $150 flat fee for dogs, a maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets are allowed. Must provide age and breeds as you book, must be fully house-trained, and we do not allow puppies. It must not be left unattended inside. All outdoor droppings picked up.
Your safety and the well-being of our home are of utmost importance. We have exterior security cameras for added security.

Important: Community Amenities – Seasonal Availability
• Swimming at the Lakes: Open from Labor Day through Memorial Day, summer months only.
• Boating/Tennis/Pickleball Courts/Basketball: opens all summer and closes 10/31/25.
• There are no winter amenities available.
• Each registered guest will receive a wristband. 6 of these wristbands include free access to the community pool.
• If your group has more than 6 people, any additional guests over the age of six years old will need to pay $10 per day to use the pool. Payment is cash only and must be made at the pool.
• All other amenities can be accessed with the wristbands at no additional cost, except for golf and fitness, which require separate payments.
• Kayaks & Paddle Boards: Available at no additional cost from Wednesday through Sunday, between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM during the summer season. These are only accessible on those days and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Community Registration:
In order to register you with the community, all guests are required to fill out a digital Pre-arrival Form that we will send you once you book. Within this form, you must provide: your full name, contact information, form of ID, and the names and ages of all guests at least 4 days before check-in. Late registrations are subject to a $75 late fee. Renters are required to provide their vehicle’s plate number and valid driver’s license upon entry into the community.

Every corner of Velvet Pines feels warm and inviting, with wood beams, retro touches, and carefully curated textures that create a relaxed mountain atmosphere. In the living room, sink into plush seating, stream movies on the framed Smart TV, or enjoy classic board games after a day exploring the Poconos. Vintage décor and soft lighting enhance the space, creating an easy, laid-back setting for connection and downtime.
Bedroom & Bathroom Layout
Bedroom 1 (Main Level): Queen bed with plush bedding, reading lights, and warm earthy tones for a comfortable retreat after a day outdoors.
Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): Two twin beds with cozy cabin décor — perfect for kids or friends.
Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Queen bed under vaulted wooden ceilings with warm lighting and soft textures for a relaxing mountain cabin experience.
Two full bathrooms with plush towels and refreshing toiletries offer a comfortable start to each day.
The Kitchen
The kitchen blends modern comfort with vintage charm — butcher-block counters, subway tile, and retro-inspired appliances in crisp, inviting tones. Brew fresh coffee in the morning or prepare pancakes and brunch before heading out to explore nearby lakes, trails, and mountain attractions. Fully stocked for cooking family meals, casual dinners, or snacks after a day of adventure.
